Spring Looks from CinCityChic
Happy First Day of Spring! The flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. I love spring so much, mainly because my birthday occurs in 9 days!
Spring is such a transformative season. The cold is finally rolling away and your wardrobe might need some adjusting to the change in weather. Living in the Midwest this time of year can make dressing difficult because the drastic change in temperature from morning to evening. It will be 40 below in the morning and reach up to 70 by mid-afternoon.
Today I share with you some looks that'll keep your look fresh for the spring but also perfect if you experience that Midwest weather change.
Look 1
Blazer: K&G Fashion Store | Turtleneck: Nordstrom Rack | Jeans: Torrid | Shoes: Payless
This look is simple and can easily be re-created with less expensive items. Find a blazer with a pop color for a crisp spring look. The added layer of the blazer and turtleneck make an easy shift when the weather changes.
Look 2
Dress: Target | Shoes: Payless
This simple slip over off-the-shoulder dress is one of my faves. It is so comfortable and very versatile. Pair with either some heels or lace-up sandals to fit your look for the spring! If it is cold outside you could even wear boots with it.
Look 3
Top: Forever 21 | Skirt: Forever 21| Shoes: Payless
Spring doesn't always have to be about florals. I pieced together two bold colors that paired nicely for a fresh spring look. The cold-shoulder top makes for a great change in weather option with the added sleeve.
Look 4
Jumpsuit(Similar): Curvy Sense | Blazer(Similar): Nordstrom Rack | Shoes: Payless
Orange is a great color for the spring as you saw in my the first look. This jumpsuit is so comfortable and makes for an effortless but chic look. The pants are not too heavy but offer a layer to protect your legs from those cold mornings.
These are four refreshing looks for the Spring! Remember to keep it light but layered if you're experiencing these drastic changes in weather as we enter Spring. Try mixing up your Spring wardrobe by including a subtle pop of color or a classic floral print. Whatever you decide make sure to enjoy this change in time as we begin to enter the warmer months!
